    As the Managing Agent for Malibu Estates Plano Homeowner’s Association, Inc. we are pleased to announce that the virtual Annual Meeting of the Members has been scheduled for Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the normal business of the Association and to present information on current Association affairs.

    Enclosed you will find the Draft Agenda and Proxy. Even if you plan on attending, it is important that you return your proxy, as unforeseen circumstances may occur which prevent you from being able to attend. The Annual Meeting of the Members cannot be held unless quorum requirements are met. If a meeting must be reconvened or rescheduled, the Association will incur additional costs. You may assign your proxy to a Member of the Board, or to a neighbor of your choice who will be in attendance.

    You may dial in early or at any time during the meeting. We look forward to you joining us on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. Proxies may also be returned by mail or e-mail.     We would like to announce that a Virtual Annual Election Meeting of Members has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, 6:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to elect three (3) Class A Members to your Association’s Board of Directors and to discuss the business of the Association.

    The meeting and/or the election cannot be held without the proper quorum. Therefore, your participation in the meeting and ballot process is especially important. You may cast your vote electronically on the Association’s website or you may submit your ballot by email, U.S. mail, or fax. If you cast your vote electronically using any of the aforementioned methods, your vote will also count toward the needed quorum. If you cannot cast your vote electronically, please consider assigning your proxy and ballot to a neighbor or to a member of the Board so the election and meeting process can move forward. Without a proxy, please keep in mind that only the Owner of record may cast vote and only one vote per household is allowed. The deadline for voting is Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023, 5:00 pm. Please be sure your ballot reaches us by or before this date.

    We are pleased to announce that the Telephonic Special Election Meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to vote to elect three (3) Class A members to the Board of Directors. Enclosed in this packet you will find the Draft Agenda and Ballot. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, voting is now Electronic. Electronic votes count for quorum; therefore, a proxy is not required.

    In order for all votes to be counted, you must submit your Electronic Ballot by January 5, 2021. Due to the pandemic, the meeting will be held telephonically, and no write-in candidates or floor nominations will be accepted. Please submit your electronic ballot by the deadline of January 5, 2021.

    According to Texas Property Code, § 209.00592. (d) An "electronic ballot" means a ballot given by either:

Once you are registered, log into your HOA website and you will see the ballot for the Special Election Meeting on the landing page. Please mark your choice(s) and submit your ballot.
